Cancellation Policy

Written as well as phone reservations for programs or events are considered firm. Cancellations for regular monthly programs must be made three business days in advance and five business days in advance for our Annual Conference and special events to avoid billing. Substitutions of registrants can be made at any time; however, advance notice of substitutions would be helpful.

No-shows who do not cancel within the timeframe stated above will be charged the full program or event registration fee. When a representative of an organization makes and/or approves an employee’s registration, that organization becomes responsible for payment, cancellation or substitutions.

Hudson-Mohawk ASTD reserves the right to require advance payment from both members and non-members who are in arrears of past due registration fees. We expect all fees past due to be paid up prior to members and non-members registering for the next program or event.

Reservations can be FAXED to 518.861.6988, or phoned in to the Hudson-Mohawk ASTD office, 518.861.6324.

Call for Presenters

Through exceptional learning and performance we create a world that works better.

This is the mission of ASTD and we invite you to partner with us in this mission to bring superior quality education to our learners. This means submitting proposals to build core skills, share best practices and innovations, and lead the way on trends. Most of all, this means submitting proposals that are learner-focused and ensuring that each session is a learning experience with application to the participant’s work.

For our 2007-2008 programming year, we have updated our peer education program and the topics for submission to concentrate on the ASTD Competency Model.

If you are an experienced trainer who would like to share your expertise with the Hudson-Mohawk ASTD, we invite you to submit a brief summary of your training program for our 2007-2008 calendar year. Our monthly programs run 60 minutes in length. We also run some longer special programs during our Trainers’ Conference and special half-day events. Please print and fill out this form and submit to Nancy Reilly, Chapter Administrator, by either emailing it to her at info@hudsonmohawkastd.org or mailing it to 74 Sanford Place, Altamont, NY 12009. If you have questions, call Nancy at 518.861.6324. We will contact you to let you know whether the Program Committee has selected your program.

For your proposal, please specify a target audience from the list of options that have been tied to the Areas of Expertise in the ASTD Competency Model. The grid below will also help you identify the competencies and target audiences.
