Our Mission:
As a professional organization for people with training and development responsibilities in business, industry, education, government, public service and other arenas of human resource development, we are dedicated to promoting workplace learning and performance through the education and networking of our members so that we:
- Provide support to the diverse learning and development professionals in the Hudson-Mohawk region through our monthly meetings, quarterly newsletters and annual conference.
- Advance the field of workplace learning and performance with programs focused on current and future trends in the industry that enable members to increase their knowledge and develop practical skills in order to improve work related competencies and performance of individuals and organizations.
- Increase public awareness of the value of workplace learning and performance through volunteerism in the communities in which we reside.
- Help trainers continually improve their performance and the performance of their companies.
- Keep the area’s professional trainers current on progress taking place in the training profession, locally and throughout the world.
